Families go through so many different phases—new pets, new babies, kids who grow from toddlers to teens overnight. I love how family photos let us freeze those moments to revisit later. And they get Mom out from behind the camera! Please don’t worry about your kids not cooperating during the session. I’ve got some tricks for redirecting their boundless energy into getting some super cute photos. This session is a time to have FUN together and capture your true family dynamic—perfect poses not required.

Sometimes, the moments we want to bottle up and keep forever are the simple, ordinary ones. Family water balloon fights on a hot summer day. Your husband’s hand in yours while you take an evening walk. The sound of your kids’ laughter as they play together in the living room. I’d love to capture these magically ordinary moments so you can remember them forever. No dressing up, no posing—just genuine fun.

Newborns change incredibly fast, so these photos are best taken within two weeks of birth. We want to capture that precious smallness and the lovestruck expressions on the parents’ (and siblings’) faces. No overly staged photos here. Just comfortable, natural moments between you and your baby. During this session, your baby is boss. So we’ll plan on a longer time frame to allow plenty of breaks for feeding, diaper changing, re-swaddling, etc. I’m happy to adapt to your schedule and your sweet baby’s needs.

As they say, “the days are long,” but that first year seems so short! Babies look completely different from one month to the next, and then, suddenly, they’re toddlers. Milestone sessions let you capture all their different looks throughout the year—those first little teeth, the cute thigh rolls, the blooming personality. This package includes a mini maternity session, the full newborn session, and growth spurt sessions at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months.

There’s so much to celebrate during your child’s senior year—finishing 13 years of school, entering adulthood, starting a new phase of life. And a photo session is such a fun way to celebrate. Senior photos freeze that brief moment when they’re caught between youth and adulthood. When they’ve got their whole future ahead of them, and they’re finally about to step into it. This session is all about the senior, so feel free to bring outfits and props that speak to your senior’s personality. Letterman jackets, cap and gown, instruments, future college gear, etc.

These days, headshots don’t have to be serious portraits with black backgrounds. They can have some personality! We’ll meet wherever you’re comfortable,—your home, office, shop or somewhere outdoors—and I’m happy to incorporate props like your office chair, the front counter of your shop, or even your pet! This 30-minute session will give you a library of classy professional photos perfectly suited to LinkedIn profiles, business websites, author photos, and personal branding.

Once you’ve booked a session, (Yay!) we go over all the fun little details—location, time, kids’ ages and their interests, etc. I’ll even send you my handy Session Guide with tips for picking outfits and helping your little ones (and husband!) relax and have fun.

The average investment for portraits is $400. But each photo session is a little different, so we’ll talk about what you’re looking for before I give you an exact quote. Your quote will include the session time, images edited in my signature style, and an online gallery of your hi-res images to download and print. No extra fees for digital files.
