Jen and I met in college when we joined the same literary society. She was the outgoing one who always pulled me in to participate from my back row seat. 😉 When Jen reached out to me about shooting her upcoming wedding in January, I was so excited! I’ve loved getting to catch up with my old friend and hear all about how her and Brad got together. Their story is so special and such a perfect example of how God’s timing is best!
Brad and Jen had assigned seats next to each other back in college. They talked a little and went on a few dates, but nothing serious. Fast forward to last year when they finally reconnected over coffee and totally hit it off! Despite living far away from each other, they talked through FaceTime and texting and lots of visits back and forth to see each other. They’ve made the most of living in different states and in less than 2 months they’ll finally be able to say goodbye to long distance forever!
On the way to shoot Brad and Jen’s engagement session, it sadly started raining. I called her to see if she wanted to reschedule for another day, but obviously that’s difficult since she had traveled to Greenville for the weekend specifically for their engagement session! She replied “let’s just give it a shot!” so we met up at the location and ended up having a blast. You’d never even know it was raining the whole time! They were so much fun to photograph, it made me so excited for their New Years Day wedding!
Check out some of my favorite pictures from their sweet engagement session!
