Meet the Ezzelarb family! This family session was so special to me. When Angela reached out for family pictures I was so excited. It had been almost 2 years since we last took pictures and her kids had grown and changed SO much. It was definitely time for some new family pictures! But the main reason why the Ezzelarb family is so special to me, is because they were the first wedding my sister and I ever shot. That’s right, almost 10 years ago, Sherif and Angela trusted us to actually shoot their wedding! We took a lot of their wedding portraits in Downtown Greer City Park, so it seemed like the perfect location for their family photos!
Our session started out near the center of Greer City Park (it is such a fun park for family photos.) We took a few pictures in some of the same locations that we had taken their wedding portraits. It was so special to see how they’ve grown their family in the last 10 years. The kids had fun running and playing together and did SUCH a great job posing for their pictures.
After Greer City Park, we walked down the street a little ways and got some frozen treats from Abbott’s. The kids enjoyed a sugar rush which gave them lots of energy and big smiles for the remainder of the session! After Abbott’s, we headed to a gorgeous area in front of Grace Church. This is where we got some of my favorite pictures of the session. I made sure to take a few “couple” shots of just Sherif and Angela (while the kids secretly ate all the snacks Angela had brought for them 😂) so they had some updated pictures of just the two of them! I loved getting the chance to see this sweet family again. It was truly an honor to capture this fun stage of life!
