I’m so excited to share some of my favorite shots from Nathan and Lindsay’s engagement session in Downtown Charleston! They are such a sweet couple and we had a wonderful time taking these photos together. Before I dive into these gorgeous photos, here’s a little bit about how Nathan and Lindsay’s adorable love story!

Their Story

Every couple’s story is unique, but Lindsay and Nathan’s story of how they met is particularly special.

Lindsay was cleaning the inside of her car at a local carwash when a young man (spoiler: it was Nathan) approached her and mentioned that his mom had the same car. He then asked if she needed any Lysol to finish cleaning. “You aren’t supposed to put Lysol on leather!” Lindsay informed him. Sheepishly, he admitted he had just cleaned the entire inside of his car with Lysol. The conversation went on to reveal that they were both nurses, and as they continued to talk, they felt as if they were old friends. Nathan asked her out, she said yes, and the rest is history!

Both Lindsay and Nathan love Charleston, S.C. In August of 2021, they traveled to Charleston’s Folly Beach with family for a vacation. While they were walking the beach, Nathan dropped to one knee and proposed! 

Their Engagement Session

I could tell how in love Lindsay and Nathan were from our very first phone consultation. Because of their shared love for Charleston, they decided to do their engagement session downtown. We took photos at all of the classic Charleston spots, like Battery Park overlooking the ocean, through downtown, and even in front of some gorgeous southern homes. As we walked, we chatted about their crazy work and school schedules and where they were in their wedding plans.

It was so much fun to capture these beautiful engagement photos for them in a place they love so much!
